Satisfying The Cravings

I’ve been having serious pizza cravings lately and it’s not something I usually dig into. I mostly try to stay away from dairy and bread. However, I stumbled upon this recipe and it looked too easy and delicious to pass up. I especially love this recipe because it doesn’t pack on a ton of tomato sauce, but instead gives you olive oil and garlicky goodness, AND on whole wheat naan it’s small enough to enjoy as your own little personal pizza. I made it this past weekend and got rave reviews. Craving satisfied!

15 Minute Easy Margherita Flatbread Pizza

From Let The Baking Begin

Here’s a great gluten free naan recipe. I haven’t made this yet, but I will next time I’m craving this pizza recipe.

  • What is naan??? And do you buy the flat bread or are you making this? Another recipe I love that’s super easy is caprese salad. It’s my favorite. 🙌🏼 You should try that. It goes great with any dish really.

    • Hi Erica,
A Naan is a flatbread served with asian cuisine, curries, etc sometimes eaten to soak up the sauce if you choose to have your curry without rice. Its delicious. Recipes are easy to find online and its very easy to make. You can have sweet naan or savoury naan. My personal favourite is Garlic flaoured naan. Which I think would be delicious to use with this recipe. Enjoy 😊

    • Nann is an Indian yeast-leavened bread. You can usually buy it at most grocery stores. I bought mine at Whole Foods.

      • Awesome. Thank you. I need some new recipes my kids are sick of the “same old” dinner entrees. And I’m trying to incorporate healthy items so it’s hard to do that and satisfy teenagers or tricking them into eating healthy entrees. It seems like all they want is pizza, hot pockets, pizza rolls, spaghetti, stuff on the grill and every fast food you can think of X10. 😬 Maybe I’ll give this a try and see what they think. Thank you all 🙂 XX
